Default Tips on using resin drops?

I just got some resin drops in the mail today. I'm wondering what is the easiest way to align them exactly to the image. I'm afraid that I won't get it on there perfect and end up with part of the image hanging over the drop. Does anyone want to share their method?

I use my resin drops for the inside of the caps, so no help there,

but-watch your fingers. I kept getting darn fingerprints on mine when I first started using them!!

I hold my image in between thumb and pointer finger, then carefully take my resin drop and line it up with my image at my thumb (so the drop and image edges both line up where they are resting on my thumb) then stick it to the rest of the image.
