I make the button pacifier clips and bib clips (no sew). I use adhesive rotating badge clips for the back, and snaps for securing pacifier clip. I have used velcro before too, but does not seem to hold, so I stick with the snaps. Ribbon is pinched into button. You can find lots of different fabrics to make them look cute without the embroidery!

I have gone through many trails and ruin lots of embroidered buttons, but now I have it down. There are several tricks to embroidery buttons making! PM me if you need ideas!

Does anyone know; if I want to double layer the ribbons (like use a 7/8 solid and 5/8 patter on top... is hot glue strong enough??? Or is that something that must be sewed?

Also since I dont have a sewing machine... does anyone maybe sell custom emnroidered button covers???

Thanks a ton guys. Youre the best!
for the layering i would use the heat'n'bond, i get mine at walmart or hobby lobby...its suppose to hold a lot better but i haven't tried it yet.

I make mine with snap clips or velcro...i didn't feel like digging out my sewing machine so i experimented and came up with that and it works. I've used both the badge clips and suspender clips to make them and than just used hot glue (non-toxic) to attach it haven't had any problems with the ones i made and my son uses the ACU one ALL the time

I sell wholesale embroidered buttons! PM me for details! Or email me at [email protected].

Also, heat n bond for the layering of two ribbons works great!

So many cute paci clips! What width ribbon do you guys use? It looks like some are 5/8, some are 7/8, is that right? I've been wanting to make them, my sister and two friends are expecting! Colson, how do you attach the badge clips?

Thanks

I use any width between 3/8", 5/8 and sometimes 7/8. 5/8 usually looks best to me, but I guess it depend on how you make them.

As for the badge clips. I buy the rotating badge clips that have a self adhesive backing. Then, I usually reinforce with hot glue. No issues with the clip staying! And the customers really like the rotating badge clip!

Thanks for the quick response!

I just found an old regular badge clip around the house and threaded a 5/8" ribbon through the hole. I'm starting to "see" it now
