Super awesome flower! I wish I could make something even remotely close to that. I wonder how it would look with drr. Double ruffle looks good no matter what you do with it (most of hte time..lol)

I agree, if it were one long strip of fabric you would notice it moving in toward the center in a circular pattern, but there are individual layers.

Besides when you blow it up you can tell it's fabric and not ribbon.

Well they are beautiful and full. I do lots of layers in my singed flowers and I thought mine were full If this is just a singed flower, she did a great job at fooling me LOL. Hundreds of singed flowers later and mine don't even compare. Wonder what she is using, the material doesn't look like regular satin to me. Maybe I have just been staring at it for way too long LOL.

It is a beautiful flower. Says she is using satin material in the materials area. I wonder if she is using something between the layers of satin?

Ok I'm going to jump out on a limb and maybe she used one of those heat tools? I just watched this you tube video last night and the lady used a heat tool similar to a little travel blow dryer...or kind of looked like that little embossing tool...she cut satin circles out and held them down with tweezers on her table and went around the circle heating it up and it curled up so nice..I have to find it again. But do I agree with pp..I think it's single layers .. also in her description she does state that some edges may have black on them...so she's probably using a flame or both.
