Default Startching Bows

Is there a thread that already talks about all the different types of starch people use for their bows? I have searched it but keep finding post that just say yes they do or no they don't.

Would love to know the different products people are using and what they prefer to use.

Thanks

Sta-Flo is what I use... some ppl dont do the % water %starch, they just do plain starch but I do.. its preference on how stiff they want them! I just use the instructions on the bottle!

Sta flo and Faultless are popular starches. Aleene's stiffener is also widely used.

Are these items we would buy in like Walmart, or are they specific craft starches to buy in Michaels?

Grocery stores sell staches... Aleene's can be found at craft stores (or online).

Would you say the 50/50 mixes provide a more stiff bow? and do you put the mixture in a spray bottle?

Are Faultless and Aleene's a 50/50 solution like Sta-Flo?
