I "think" both of those flowers are from overseas. I'm almost positive one of the suppliers I work with has the polka dot ones. Since they are flat on the back and have a felt bottom, it makes it super simple to attach to the elastic band

I found this for the flower and you can sew or glue the flower to the headband then use felt to cover the back of the flower for a cleaner look.

I make my flowers like the tut showed with either small flower shapes or circles. I let my fabric frey, but could you use a frey check or something? I also like to use felt or similar fabrics which stand up well.
