I am starting to enjoy the bows that need to be sewn- it gives me something to do in front of the TV- and I don't have to stay close to a plug for the glue gun. (of course later I still need to glue..but I can do all the sewing first)

Everyone's are beautiful. I make these also, but I use fabri-tac glue instead of sewing them. I fold each piece of ribbon in half and make a crease so I know where the center is and then glue them one on top of the next in an evenly spaced starfish pattern. Then I bring each end up and glue it to the center. Do that for each layer. I think it is just as quick and sturdy but it is much easier on the fingers and is always even.

Well, yesterday I was finally able to sit down and try this new bow. I think my first one ended up looking good. They are very fun and not as hard to make as I thought!! I think I am going to try the smaller one next. This one was pretty big, even for my girls' heads!!
Here's my first attempt.

Also, what is everyone charging for these hairbows?? Thanks!

I was thinking for the small ones- $4.00 a pair. (I am just using buttons for the middles) and $6.00 and up on the large ones depending on what I use for the center and how big it really is.

For regular flowers (just with bling center) I charge
$2 - Small
$3 - Medium
$4 - Large
and for the really big ones with bottlecap, embellished centers I charge $6
