Question Korkers + starch.. before or after baking?

This afternoon I'm going to bake some korking ribbon using starch for the first time (I bought some Sta Flo to use).

My question is...

Do I spray them wet *before* baking? Or do I spray them *after* baking?

Thanks for all your help girls ~

Before, that allows them to dry in the oven

Just made some last night and starched them before I baked them.

i put them on the dowl then spray with starch then bake. The heat sets the starch and they are more crisp if you do it that way.

I always starch my korkers after baking but that is only because in my experience they tend to be harder to get off of the dowel if I starch and then bake

I spray the starch in a bowl and dunk the ribbon completely in the starch then put it on the rod and bake it.

Can I do the same thing with Sta Flo Keri? Would I pour it into the bowl full strength or 50/50?
