Default For those that do craft shows...

What bows sell the best for you?

I'm getting a stash ready to do a craft show or a mom to mom sale and I was wondering what sells the best. I have quite a few solid twisted boutique and some with patterns on them. I have a few stacked bows that are show ready but I dint really want to feature those I really just want to stick to the basics like boutiques and maybe korkers?

What are your tips for doing my first show?

The basic bows move the best for us. But have plenty in all sizes. Flowers on clips do great too. Also, where ever you show is located do a bit of research on what the school colors are in that area. And make plenty! Those move VERY well! Hope this helps! Good luck to you.

Bring everything you have.

The more you have, the more you can sell and you never know what people will be looking for!!!

Basic bows, clippies, kufi's, headbands and flowers, you can't go wrong with - but bring everything you've got!

I don't have many headbands that's the one thing I was wondering if I should have more of and probably the kufi's too. I have to find a good place to order them. I have until march for the mom to mom sale I'm going to do so I have time to hopefully get more of those.

I think it differs depending on where you are located. I'd suggest you make different things to see what sells in your market. However, I caution you that the more different things you make, the more you need to figure out how to display. I agree about making things in school colors as well as for upcoming holidays.

Yep I have things made up for different holidays and I will do the school color thing. The other thing I did was get spring/summer colors based on what we got in at work (I work for gap kids and baby) so lots of my solid colors will go with their lines and I'm hoping that those will be the in colors for the rest of the stores a's well.

Pinwheels in basic colors do well for me and anything zebra.
