Exclamation Korkers that don't tear apart

Okay...so what is the trick to get the korker ribbon to stay in and not be able to be pulled out? Also, what if they all were pulled out? Is there an easy way to put them back?

The only way to really secure them is to sew them. Use a long threaded needle and lay each korker on the needle and then pull it through. A few more back and forth stitches through the middle of them all will finish it off. You may need to use pliers to pull the needle through the thickness of it.

Most people do sew them. I have a friend that ties hers and then she still pops a couple of stitches through the middle so they don't come apart.

That is how I do mine too. It is pretty time consuming but the only way to make them where they can't be pulled apart, imo.

Sew them. I use upholstery thread doubled so the kids can't break it. I've tried regular thread and with pulling those an still sometimes come apart.
Good Luck!

Sew them!! Use upholstery thread and do atleast three stitches thru the entire stack of pieces.

I will only buy bows, korkers, etc that are sewn....even my 6 year old can be a little rough on her hair pretties and I do not want them falling apart the day I receive them....when i made the bows and hair stuff they were all sewn....it is more time consuming but it will gurentee that your stuff will last!

Good luck!
