sharing pics of the set I made. The black bow is actually on a snap clip. I forgot that part before. It helps it be more secure stacked, and a little flatter, too.

Really cute bows! I've been doing the interchangeable bows for awhile now and my customers love the versatility of them.

They do exist! You can get them through Axel Rod. they are mini alligator clips. I think I may have some if you want me to measure (I have to find them first....LOL)

Very nice. The last picture suggests they fit together better than I would have thought.

Do you have any plans to offer them to your customers? If so, would you charge more than you would for a stacked bow with the same components, due to the additional hardware? Or would you offer it as a package with a couple of small bows and/or a couple of centers?

Thanks for taking the time to post the pictures.

those pics are really great in explaining what you folks are talking about.

what's got me a bit confused is . . . wouldn't 20 mm snap clips work better/be more secure/be less visible than the handle/pinch part of an alligator clip . . . or am i missing something? lol - not hard to confuse me these days . . . and tia.

As I understand it the OP is looking for an extremely small clip to make an interchangeable center (that is a decoration of small bow that can be attached to the center ribbon of different base bows). And I don't think that you could easily operate the snapping function of a snap clip once it's permanently attached to something like that, especially if you are trying to attach it to the center of a bow.

But maybe I'm missing something myself.

I have always cut my ali-clips to make the mini ones and fully lined them

Probably slightly more, due to the hardware. I think I would probably offer "base bow", "middle bow" and "toppers" that allows them to mix & match for themselves. Base bows could be on alligators OR french clips, middles would probably be on 30MM snaps, and "toppers" on mini alligator clips OR snap clips, depending on the topper. If I did really small bows as toppers, they would easily go on snap clips, for things like bottle caps, it might be easier to use them with mini alligators.

thanks . . . i think i got what you are saying . . . is that the downward curve of the snap clip profile hitting the left & right side of the bow would perhaps make it pop up - right?

i'll put it on my ever growing to do list to test out the 20mm clips cause i do a lot of flowers on these for hats.

lol - pls don't ask me to test it out on a boutique/twisted/grrrr bow!
