Default How to select bow picture in photoshop

Hello - I'm trying to figure out how to easily select the enire bow in a picture in Adobe photoshop so that I can make the background white. But when i use the "Magic selection brush tool" it sometimes misses lighter ribbons that loo k close to the white background. Any suggestions of how to make the background white would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Sounds like you just need to increase the tolerance value (This determines how closely to match colours - higher tolerance means a larger selection.)
Coffee in hand, big girl panties pulled up, sparkle in my eye and smile on my face...Yep, I'd say I'm ready for the day...bring it on!!

Use the magnetic lasso tool to select it and whatever you missed go back and re-select using the regular tool or the polygon lasso tool (make sure it is set where it adds to the selection)

Like she said above play with the tolerance as well!

My best advice though is take your time and make clicks ofteN!
