Default How to not spend all your money on supplies/destashes?

Seriously, this is killing me, I am supposed to be saving for a wedding and it isn't working. I have such a hard time restraining myself, lol. So what's your trick?

I think it's important to focus on what products you'll be offering then run some numbers: how many do you (reasonably) plan to sell, how much ribbon/other material goes into each one, how many different colors/patterns you plan to offer. Then make a rule that you only buy more supplies as you actually sell product.

I know this is completely unreasonable for most of us but it is a start! :0)

It really has helped me since they changed the forum around. I don't "like" having to make an effort to go to the forum for destashes. BUT it has helped me to not spend. I purposely don't go to the ribbons/bows/more or GB forum anymore unless I have some extra fun money

Other than that, I have no self control!

Easy! Occupy yourself so much outside of interweb world that you don't have time to get on! haha Thats what has happened to be over the past 2 weeks and I think I might have had a look at the GB/Destashes maybe once?? No buying though.

Have your boyfriend/husband change your paypal, and ebay passwords. At least that worked for me. He will let me on if I need him too. But otherwise I asked him to do it. Haven't bought anything since.

Uh, good question

I am having the same problem. I have lots of things I need to clean out and get rid of, stuff that has never sold for me, stuff that no longer sells well for me, stuff I bought with good intentions of using and never did....

And then I get that money and just put it right back into more group buys and destashes and wholesale sites. LOL

Lol, I keep looking to buy things so I can store all my crap! That seems like a bad start.

As for the paypal email, I don't think that would stop me and with most of my sales online I don't think I could do that.

Thanks for the idea anyways! lol
