Pillowcase dress'

I know this is a hairbow forum but I noticed some of you like to sew too, and was wondering if there was some info on making these?

Wow - those are great! I love the ruffle on the bottom too. I would like to make them for my girls (if I ever get time). When using the pillowcase, do you take out the side seams and re-sew? Is it a-line when you cut and sew? Sorry for the questions I am just curious as to how everyone makes them. I got the pattern online somewhere but I may just wing it. I have seen them on bigger girls and they wear with jeans or leggings. So cute!!

I've since stopped until I have a specific order on a specific type of material. I've got a ton of material just lying around.

These are all lovely dresses ladies. I really love the vintage embroidered ones for the twins. Very cute!

Here are some that i made. The first one is just two different fabrics put together. The second one is made out of a High School Musical pillowcase, the 3rd one is zebra fabric and the last one is Hannah Montana pillowcase.
