Default Making Christmas gifts for teachers...

I think I am going to stick to making hair accessories for all of our teachers this year for gifts and was wondering what type of hair accessory would you wear? I have the bobby pins where I can attach an embellishment and those have been really popular with my women customers...any other accessories you would actually wear?

I wear woven headbands (and have sold them to adults) as well as hair flowers and fabric flowers!

I think bobby pins are safe. Or headband w/ something small attached.

My daughters Kindergarten teacher is older so did not think she would wear anything in her hair. As an alternative I made her some ribbon sculptures: snowman, Christmas tree, Thanksgiving turkey and attached them to clasps that she can pin on a sweater/jacket etc. I guess you could also do the same with a small group of singed flowers etc.

I love that idea!!!! I think I might do that for my daughter's teachers with singed flowers with the pinbacks!

Since my daughter has been in preschool ...every year I made a ribbon sculpture of her teacher and made it so they could clip it to their lanyard around their necks (*which is how Fargo School system teachers have to wear their ID*) Every year they have loved it. and even got orders from other teachers that would like ones too. =o) Easy and cheap since I already had all the stuff...
This year we are making the popscicle stick sled ornaments again this year.
I was debating on getting out the wood burner and making some intricate designs on them but I'm so clumsy these days I'm sure I'd hurt myself...I think that thing is safer off and in the case! LOL

Here is what they look like plain....I run an 1/8" ribbon red or green thru the holes on top for the pull rope and then paint 2010 between the ribbon holes and then either to: and From: or Merry Christmas on it . Super easy and cheap to make.

My daughter teacher is always buying tuxedo hairbows and the bow I have in my profile pik...in different colors...
But the thing she like more was a rosette cuff bracelet with matching metal headband I had on for my dd play...soo I made her one in black for christmas she love it...
Also made goodie bags for kids with candy and a christmas pencil with a tuxedo bow with business card attach for girls and candy and school supplies for boys...
