Default attaching the bow - I think I'm messing up

I have been lining my alligator clip. Then I make the bow and hot glue the knot in place. Then I hot glue the bow to the clip. Is this wrong? Should I be attaching the bow to the clip then wrapping the knot around?

I always glue the bow to the clip and then glue the center around the bow and clip. It seems a little more sturdy that way. IMO

The only clips I usually wrap with the center knot are the french clips. All others I just glue the bow straight on. I don't make any huge bows, but I have never had a problem with them falling off.

I don't wrap mine unless it is an french clip also. I glue the bow right on the clip, haven't had a problem yet.

I always wrap around the clip. Even my korkers I sew a piece to the bottom of the korker then glue onto the clip either alligator or french clip, then wrap around. I had problems with my earlier bows coming loose. My little girl is my tester, she loves to grab them by the bow and pull them out of her head. The only bows I don't wrap are the tiny bows on the snap clips.

I think I do what most of you do, but in a weird order. I actually make the bow, line the clip, glue the center to the bow (leaving the ends loose), glue the bow to the clip, then wrap the ends around the clip and glue in place.

well, I have to say...that order is not weird...only because that's the way I do it, lol!
