Default Removable Marabou puffs

Hi I was going to make a christmas outfit for my DD and I wanted to put marabou on the sleeves. I need to make them removable so I can wash her shirt. Does anyone know how I go about making these? I have the marabou already. Is there a way to put elastic on it somehow....maybe like a marabou scrunchy. Thanks for everyones advice!

What about velcro? Sew the velcro to the sleeve and the marabou on the other one, as long as you only want to take it off it wash it should be fine, could be a little itchy though.

I attached mine to a button and then put a button hole on the shirt so it can be attached and removed.
