Default scrabble tile bail seperating - help!

I gave my beautician one of my pendants for a key fob i made. she only had it a few days and the bail seperated from the tile. i used e6000, but it didn't just pull off from the dimensional magic that i used, it took the paper from the glass. the whole thing came off. has anyone had any issues like this? any suggestions?

I've never used the dimensional magic...just like bottlecaps, I've only used mod podge and et lite. For the glass tile necklaces, I used E6000 for the bails.

Not sure if it would be an issue with the scrabble tile, the dimensional magic or both? sorry I couldn't help!

I haven't used the dimensional magic, so I'm not sure exactly what the problem is. But I've always been afraid to use anything with a glue on bail as a key chain. I think that it gets way too much wear and tear for the glue to hold up to that type of use, even E6000. Personally for key chains, I would use either a bottle cap with a split ring or a heavy duty silver pendant tray.

I didn't think about that...my keychain is certainly used and abused!

i've had mine on for several weeks with no problems. (so far). i'm using the glass tiles, not the scrabble tiles. i've seen them on etsy for keychains so i'm assuming it works. thanks for the responses.

I use glass tiles but never for keychains. But I can tell you, I have tried to pull a bail off of my daughters old tiles when she doesn't wear it anymore and it won't budge!!! Did you let the dimensional magic dry thoroughly before adding bail?? Maybe just some freak accident?? I use Diamond Glaze, but still, hard to remove bail!!

actually...I've had trouble with scrabble tiles too. I've tried e6000 and also another industrial glue (can't remember the name off top of my head) and it also came apart.
Don't know if it's a wood thing? Anxious to hear what other folks have to say and suggest here....

I found an old tutorial that said to use superglue on the silver bails, maybe that would help?
