Default Probably the silliest bow making question ever...

Hi ladies, like I said this is probably a DUH for the rest of you but I'm just starting making stacked bows, like with spikes, twisted boutiques, wrap arounds etc and I noticed some bows have spikes on the bottom and some bows have a large twisted bow on the bottom...I was wondering if there was an important difference or why people did it one way or the other...what do you ladies like? Thanks!

I think the majority of ladies use a twisted or boutique bow for the bottom layer of a stacked bow, but I personally just use spikes as the bottom layer. Only because most of my customers don't prefer a "tall" bow. kwim? I've attached a picture of my dd (just a quicky photo - not professional) with simple spiked piggie bows.

I put a bottom bow, but I think it goes down to your personal style as well as what your customers want

It is a personal preference thing. Some people like them tall and some like it when the spikes are flat against the head.

I've done both. I prefer spikes on the bottom. Tall bows over power my DDs head. The majority of my sales are for little bows.
