Default Got my cuddlebug! Where can I find different shapes for it?

I am so new to this cuddlebug and cricut thing! Where can I find the different shapes it cuts? It came with this jagged edge square. I want circles for the backs of my flowers. I looked at WalMart online where I ordered the cuddlebug, and it says not sold in stores and only had a few embossing things.

Silly question, what is the difference in the dyes and embossing? ONe presses and one actually cuts?

Does anyone have any to destash for it? LOL

Thank you ladies! I appreciate it!

You can find them on ebay and Joann's has them online for 40% off right now. I know hobby lobby has the embossing dies but not sure about cutting dies. You are correct about embossing vs. cutting. Embossing just leaves the indentations in paper which a lot of card makers use.

the cuttlebug dies are getting harder to find in stores...my HL carries very few of them now; my circles I bought almost two years ago and I don't think I've seen them in stores lately

So, I'm sure this has been asked before, but does the cuddlebug accept all cricut cartridges?

I am really needing circle dies for backs of flowers. I can't seem to find that one!

I believe that the cuttlebug uses dies like sizzix, quickutz, etc (usually just hard plastic dies) and cricut cartridges are the electronic dies that are loaded onto a cartridge so they aren't interchangeable. Feel free to correct me anyone if I am wrong!

You can use other dies like sizzix and quickutz with your cuttlebug it just uses more cutting pads. Here is a site with a quick tutorial on how to do it.

I have a cuttlebug and use sizzix dies. For the circles you need sizzix die Circles#2.

right, like the pp said, the cuttlebug dies are not interchangeable with the cricut...cricut is a computerized/electronic cutter; the cuttlebug is well, manual

Awesome! Thank you so much ladies! You all were very helpful. I am super stoked that I can get other dies and play around
I will check the tut tomorrow more when my eyes aren't so sleepy so I can figure out what plates mine came with and what plates I will need with other brand dies.

I did notice though when I did the first die tonight that came with it, it left a small indention on the plate. It left the shape of the die on the plate. Is that normal? DH did it actually. He "said" he followed directions, but I thought I would ask you ladies if that is normal.

Well it all makes sense Thanks so much! I guess I will just use my cricut for cards and crafts for my kiddos. I have heard of people cutting out alpha with the cricut and gluing it to a bow holder plaque. Then put modge podge over to seal. Anyone ever tried this?? Not sure what all I will use the cricut for, but knew I wanted one to make crafts and cards.

oh yeah, that will happen! I rotate mine (upside down then right to left, if that makes sense, when I do each pass) to make the plastic last longer.
