Well Maxine......

I really don't know LOL I just sew mine and then once it's all knotted off I just fluff it till it looks alright. Most of mine usually don't look THIS round, maybe I just got lucky? lol

I think I use 18 pieces also. My very favorite size is 2.5

I use 20 pieces in my 2" ones. to make them round, I trim any that are sticking up and then re-seal the ends. I usually end up snipping quite a few, a little here and a little there. I'm so anal about my korkers, no wonder I hate them, they take me forever!!

Oh wow lovedove, those korkers are fabulous! I love how tight they look.. they're lovely. You can tell you put a lot of work into them! Thanks for sharing your tips with me.. I'm going to have to try that. I just hope I can make mine look half as nice as yours
