Default cutting our fabri and felt!

Hi ladies,

I usually glue a felt circle to the back of my flowers and headbands but i have to cut by hand and they are not perfect. For my fabric flowers i have to cut put circles or flower shapes and its a pain cutting by hand. Does anyone know of an easier way to cut fabric and felt? TIA

I bought the Sizzix Big Kick at Michael's (Reg $99.99) using a 40% off coupon. They have a die with 4 different size circles and a die with 3 different size flowers.

if you dont have that you could always print out what shape you want and trace it onto som freezer paper iron it onto the felt and cut around it... you can use same piece of freezer paper for quite a few cuts... thats what i did until i got my cuttle bug and truthfully i still do it this way more then the cuttle bug

Yes you can use your cricut to cut fabric. Felt on the other hand is very tricky I hear. I have never attempted it. It has to be simple shapes. There is a great video on YouTube for cutting fabric with a cricut worth checking out! As for the circles I use my circle cutter that you can get at joanns. It is awesome! It was worth the $15 or so dollars! I use it for singed flowers as well. You can cut a ton out very fast! HTH
