I am that OP. I just want to clarify again that this bow is not the "funky loopy bow" that we are all used to. That is a completely different bow. I am not endorsing her tut. I haven't even bought it and may never buy it or I might.

*****Sorry for the confusion......OP means "Other person" on another board I am on"

You're confusing things.

The "OP" of this thread is "lovetostamp". There can only be one OP per thread (that is the nature of message boards).

If iluvstarz2001 makes a statement saying The OP specifically said then she is referring to lovetostamp.

lovetostamp, I have a question...

It seems you didn't know how to make this bow prior to the creation of this thread.

Then, in that thread, many people contributed ideas, photos and helpful comments on how to make the bow... most especially PLTBowsetc.

She essentially wrote a full-blown tut complete with photos in that thread.

So, I'm wondering.. is your tut actually PLTBowsetc's?

Maxine, I just had to say I love your siggy...I was dying to know your secret! LOL!! As to this thread. I did buy the tut, mainly because I was too lazy to search for the instructions. I hope that the OP did not steal it from someone else, or maybe did not even realize that she did. TO ilovstarze2001: I think you should have handled your business in a pm, JMO.

I never said it was the funky loopy bow that we are all used to. I said it was the same bow that was being discussed in a previous thread (just as you said in the first post I quoted).

I think that if you have a problem with it, you should have pmed her and handled it that way. It is a good tut(coming from someone who has bought A LOT of them).
I have both tuts as well. They definitely are not the same bow, but this discussion was about the bow that was "picked apart" in another thread. Her post was not jacked by drama. People wanted to know if they were going spend money on something that was previously discussed for free, and that's why links were posted. Her directions are, step by step, the same as what PLTBowsetc posted.

I'm glad I quoted you before you edited your post. Tell me what "business" I should have handled in a PM!? I never posted a link to the other thread, I simply stated that, yes, it was the same bow that was being discussed in the other thread!

Listen I'm not getting into stupid drama on this forum, that is why I edited my post. So as far as I concerned this discussion is over!

Hmmm....Well, I don't think it's right to sell a tut on a bow that so many contributed to making unless the tut contains information totally different from anything already shown here (not one or two points)

This board is supposed to be about sharing, not making money. If there is a free tutorial on this board wouldn't you want to know it existed before paying money for one, especially if it's the same thing? If you tried the free one and you still need more help then, purchase the tutorial (even though I haven't so I don't know if it would help), but I think it should have been stated that in the thread that a free tutorial does exist for it.

LoL @ dying to know the secret! Welcome to the cool girl's club!!

I'm a little confused about lovetostamp's tut because it seems she, along with many others, learned how to make the bow using PLTBowsetc's excellent instructions in that thread. And it wasn't PLTBowsetc's instructions alone, others shared their knowledge as well. Many people offered helpful hints.

In that thread, she announced I am actually in the works of making a really good paid tutorial now. So, to me, I'm wondering about the ethical nature of the tut. If it is a compilation of the information from that thread, then I don't think it's fair to charge someone for someone else's free tutorial.

Just my (but offering it to you for free! lol )

I completely agree. I think there was a lot of confussion(SP?) in this thread as to what this was a tut for. I myself did not read through the whole first thread on this bow, so I did not even know instructions had been posted there. I think a lot of people thought they were trying to compare doodles bowtique loopy bow and this one. They are different bows. I am glad that someone is giving PLTBowsetc's the credit she deserves.
