Default What would you use?

I posted this in the crochet thread as well but started thinking maybe some of you don't read those threads.

I wanted to attach crochet flowers to a crochet headband and began sewing them together last night...and then I thought....this is taking way too long. I am "sew" a beginner at sewing. I thought about using FabriTac or Liquidstitch (I think this is the name, my husand bought it for me). But I have no experience with any of these products. And finally my question,

What would you use for this?

I think it depends on the type of "crochet" of the hb (tightly stiched, trellis-ish ?) and how many & the size of the flowers. I don't think I'd use fabri-tac or anything like that, though. If it's for personal use, I'd sew them on or (don't laugh!) safety pin them... really all depends on the headband. I think, anyway....

I glue mine onto an alligator clip that's lined and that way they have dual usage, on the headband or plain in the hair. Hope that helps.

The flower doesn't flip or flop on the headband?

Not with a piece of felt behind the clip and attaching it to the back of the flower. It gives it stability. HTH!
