Also, I used the ribbon I had on hand. The bow would probably be better with wider ribbon.

Excuse her tousled hair, she was running around playing and I stopped her to put the bow in.

How cute!!!

That's how I did it. It's all sewn and glued together. Then stiffened.

hahaha!! How long did you cut your ribbon? I was thinking maybe a 4" bow so like 8.5" in length?

The bow I made is actually 3.75" across. I held the ribbon up against the back of her head to kind of eyeball how big I wanted it (she is super tiny!). I cut each piece 7 5/8" long and used the 1/8th" to overlap and secure.

It really goes together easily. Please post a pic of the one you're working on when you're done, ok? I'd love to see it!

I think mine came out super huge! I used 9" pieces & folded them in half to make a 4" bow. I stacked mine on a needle & think I may just glue it together next time. it was SUPER THICK to sew through & it felt really wobbly so I had to go back in & slightly glue the layers together. I havent put a center on it yet but here it is..

oops a pic would've been nice huh lol

Very nice. I actually like yours a little better, especially the color choice.

Maybe it's the angle the pictures were taken from but it does look like your loops are longer, so there is more space between them at the ends. I kind of like it that way but you may want to run it by your customer.
