Default What do you use for the ends of the headbands

I've been making woven headbands for my daughters and they keep complaining that it hurts the back of their ears. Any suggestions on what I can use?

When I was a child I hated headbands because they always hurt my head. Could you maybe take a makeup foam powder puff, cut it down to fit on the head band and glue it on? Maybe cover it with ribbon to hide it?

I buy those packs of foam sheets from the dollar store and cut little squares in a matching color and glue them on the inside of each end. Since the foam sheets are fairly thin, it doesn't show when the child wears the headband and it helps equalize the pressure.
I have a customer who's daughter complained about the first headband she ordered and I added these foam squares and it completely solved the problem. That's been over a year ago and she still wears that headband all the time and has bought many headbands from me since.
