The organza ribbon, however, works like a champ

Did you use waxed?? 1/8 organza does work pretty well, my only issue with it is when I'm doing a stacked bow it is too bulky, at least for me....

Yes, I used the "mint" one lol I was actually thinking of you when I tried tying it. I was wondering why it wasn't working for me

I absolutely agree about the organza ribbon. It holds tight, but really adds bulk.

Hmmm....I have had one or two over the years that did this, but it was usually when I bought name brand, not generic.....I'm sorry it didn't work for you

It's probably something I'm doing wrong, but when I wrapped it around the center and pulled, it relaxed and opened up. I have some cinnamon in the drawer that I might try later today.

Wish me luck lol

I use dental floss too. Easy and cheap. BUt when I have double ribbon for a twisted boutique with one color on the top and another on the inside I have noticed the floss won't tie as tight. So I tried using embroidery floss and it made it super tight. So floss is fine but when you really need it to tie tight for more ribbon, use a heavier thread like embroidery floss. I love my GB. I have 2 just in case one breaks. I love mine that much.
