Default Baking a bow??

Ok, So I finally made a boutique bow that actually looks like one! lol My question is. Does anyone bake their bows(before using glue) to hold the shape of them?? I'll post a pic of mine. Any suggestions on it would be great! Thanks!!!

That is adorable! I tried backing the bow "pieces" before putting the bow together and I couldn't tell a different. JustDaisy, a member of this forum, suggested hair spray and it works wonders. Just don't over spray or it will be too hard. Once I have my bow put together and the hair clip is attached, I use suave aerosol hairspray and I lightly mist my bows and they keep their shape

Try clicking on the search button (top of the page) and searching for baking bows. There have been a lot of posts on this in the past with way more advice and tips than I could even give. I know I have seen various times, temps, starch, no starch, etc. so everyone's is a little different.

i have used spray starch on mine after I have them all together, but never before...hmm, I never even thought about doing it before I put them all together...I might have to search this a little bit as well.
