When you have applied your image to the bottlecap let it 'set' for about 24hrs before applying the drop...that should help.

I use it straight from the bottle, then I use my finger and run it over it make it smooth, so it blends, then I just take wet washcloth (actually one cut into 1/4's os it is smaller and run it over the image, so when it dries there are no smears on the drop itself. HTH

Also I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but if your drop is rock hard and has no flexiibility to it then I don't get a very good seal. I usually have no problems with the ones that flex. Sometimes I will actually take the drop and apply to the image, without sealing if on good paper, and then apply the image to the cap and seal. These are actually some of my better looking ones, when next to ones made with ET lite many haven't been able to pick them out. When I have some that aren't flexible I just run a lighter over briefly and it helps (of course, that is when I remember!)
