I'll check in and around my various tut's and sites. I REALLY want to try some bows with the 2.25 ribbon, too... so I hope I can find a recipe!

When I used mine, I didn't measure....I left it all attached, then cut once I was done. If I had been smart I would have taken it back apart ane measured it! I did a twisted on top of a pinwheel, it is one huge bow, but stuck with just solids and no embellisments and it looked really cute!

When I use the 2.25in I do the figure 8 fold and I used 25.5in. It made like a 6in bow. I can post a picture if you want to see what I am talking about.

Here are a few. I dont take pictures of my bows very often so the only ones I have are from my phone that I sent to my cousin bc she wanted them for her little girl. I cut the background out of the green bc it was in the bathroom on the counter and the toilet is in the background haha. And I know the khaki one is off center, but it was a freebie and for my baby cousin so I didnt re-do it hahahaa. HTH

I love using this size ribbon for your basic boutique style bows only. I only use solids and they sell very well.
