Could you also sew them onto the pony-tail holder? I don't buy the ones w/ the metal binder so I don't have anything to glue it onto. Would sewing it on work?

I made some the other day and they turned out great! They were so simple. I used the instructions that were posted. After I gathered up the ribbon I took my string and rapped it around the pony tail holder several times. I pulled really tight to secure it and then wrapped it some more. Then I tied it off and covered the thread with a small piece of ribbon. I used button hole thread so when I pulled it wouldn't break. I used pony tail holders that had the metal and non-metal ones. I'll try and take some pictures of them.

The ones I made are fairly short. They hang 6 inches. I'm on my way out now, but I can take a picture of them in Chloe's hair later.

I sew mine as well. I made one of them for one of my friends' daughters who is 5 and plays softball. She loved it! Not to mention that there was no bow to get squished by her helmet when she was batting!

I do this too!! just like you said! I also make them to match the seasons (red, pink, and white-for Valentines day, green and white- for St, Pats, red, green white-for Chirstmas etc...)
