Default Need some help/advice.....

I have been making bows for a couple years now and I am definately improving but I feel like my bows look good in person but when I take a picture (to sell) they look crappy. Definately not as nice as a lot of bows I see. Here is a pic of a recently completed bow m2m gymbo's new line. Also anyone know a good (FREE) tutorial on how to make surround loops. Mine never come out right. TIA

Your bow looks great! Maybe a solid white background would make the picture brighter.

I agree with everyone.....the bow is great! Try making a light box.

I have a couple tuts for surround loops....give me a minute to find it and I will send it (unless someone finds one first)

I think a solid, light background makes a huge difference. I went ahead and quickly edited out the background on your picture (I hope you don't mind!!) to show the difference.

Also, I think your bow looks great and your original photo really wasn't bad at all. One tip someone recently provided on here for photographing bows would be to photograph the bow before you add the alligator clip. (Sorry whoever provided that tip, I'd credit you but I don't remember who it was!)

ditto this! I have always taken photos before the clips are added, I think they look lopsided in the photo if the clip is raising the bow up slightly on one side

Otherwise I agree with the others, your bow looks great, just need to fix the lighting and background
