Default Need singed flower help!

How the heck do you cut the circles so even. Mine are squares, and other funny shapes but not circles. Am I doing something wrong. Very Frustrated here!

I don't make singed flowers (sigh, another thing I have on my to-do but not today list) but could you take a piece of cardboard, cut it in a circle and then trace around on your fabric? Or are you cutting the fabric with a wood burner? If you are could you use a regular drinking glass for the larger circles? And smaller glasses (shot glasses?) for the smaller circles?

Use lids to small jars?

I prefer to have them a little off.

Okay, so I was curious and looked around really quick and came across this: http://www.quiltersreview.com/articl...t/030804_a.asp

Sounds like it would work great for cutting "perfect" circles but I think as long as they're mostly circular you should be fine. Once you singe the edges they won't be perfectly round anyway and, I think, that slightly off would give them a more natural look.

there is a similar tool used in scrapbooking that may work to make perfect circles...but a cheap alternative is like the others said ...lids would work well ...I saw someone on etsy selling precut circles of fabric specifically for singed flowers....

I wouldnt worry too much about them being perfect, that's part of the charm is that they look natural.
