Default Help w/ Cinderella bow/tiara

My daughter is going to be Cinderella for Halloween. My aunt made her a beautiful cinderella dress, but I need to come up w/ something that will sort of resemble a tiara. I can't find an actual tiara that doesn't fall off her head. So I bought some light blue ribbon and some silver metallic ribbon. Any ideas??

So far all I've come up with is to either make a loopy bow w/ the blue & silver. Or Make a double layered bow w/ the two colors.

No idea about making one but I know that Claire's at our mall has smaller tiara's that have like the hair comb things so you just slide it in. We had one that we could keep in my daughter's hair and just used a few bobby pins with it to keep it secure. It was something like this...Hope the link works

The link worked, thanks! We have a Clarie's at our mall, maybe I'll see if they have them.

That's really pretty and your kids are adorable! Maybe I'll try something like that...of course I'll have to make a trip to Hobby Lobby for some wider light blue ribbon, but a trip to HL is never a bad thing! Thanks for sharing!

My granddaughter is Cinderella this year. I covered a headband with blue like Cinderella wore. My daughter is going to be Belle and insisted on a crown. I got her the kind that would go around her bun like Belle has. It stays in pretty well. I got the tiara at Hobby Lobby in the wedding section.

Love the Cinderella & Belle costumes! I didn't even think about looking in the wedding section. I do like the headband idea, maybe I'll use some leftover fabric from the dress and do that. Hmmmmm.

Thanks. I've changed the Cinderella a little adding a little more bling. I made it before I made the Belle and liked the applique i used on Belle better. For the headband, I used left over fabric also and then put a sheer over it like the tutu.
