Default Painting BC

I have asked this before and was told Acrylic Paint....am I buying the wrong kind? It just doesn't look shinny/Smooth! and I can see the brush lines. I got the $1.00 kind from Michaels. I would like some of mine painted. I just did them plain silver but a few just don't look right like that. Most I think it looks fine.

I don't want to buy them pre-painted so that isn't an option. I hate having 100 of something and 5 of what I want lol.

I paint mine with acrylic paint. I usually have to do two to three coats to get good coverage. I then put the resin over the paint to seal it and make it look shiny. I flatten mine and paint on the outside of the cap. Here is a pic. I use ET Lite.

I don't flatten mine though and everyone keeps saying the resin shouldn't go down the sides of them!?
How do you flatten them?

I agree try to give the BC a couple of coats of paint. Make sure that the paint is dry to the touch between coats. HTH
