Thank you for putting these instructions together! My oldest daughter actually asked me to make her one of these bows, I just wasn't sure how. Can't wait to make some!

I personally like the 3 inch french clips, I don't know what that is in mm. That was actually my last one of that size, because I ordered a bunch of the genuine french clips and I didn't choose the right size. I got the 2 1/4 inch ones on accident. I think that they are a little small for the ribbon recipe I gave, so i am going to have to get going on some smaller ones to use those clips. I see that on a different site that they offer to put them on a snap clip as well, though I have not done that yet.

Thanks - I have often wondered about how to make these. Hope your mouth feels better soon. Wisdom teeth are the pits!

I really appreciate the time and effort you put into this tutorial - especially while recovering from dental work!

thanks for the instructions! has anyone done them on alligator clips?
One side tends to stick up a little and it doesn't lay correctly with an alligator clip, in my opinion. I would use a snap clip instead, if you don't like the french clip, or even the little white plastic barettes for small tux bows.
