Default Flattened vs. Regular Bottle Caps

This newbie needs help! I understand the physical difference between flattened and regular bottle caps, but whats the difference in the uses?

Do they have specific purposes? Or just personal preference?

Thanks!!

It is just a personal preference. I have just always done mine flattened (I put my graphic on the outside of the cap and paint the rim...hard to explain in writing). They are my best sellers at craft shows.

For me it is customer preference. I do some flattened and some not. Just like some people liked coloured caps and some don't. I just think everyone likes different things.

I prefer the flattened. I have used the regular ones and my images never fit right on the top of regular bottlecaps?!?!? I use a 1" circle punch, but its still to big. Tried trimming and mess it up, so when I make them I only use flattened.

I'm so glad you said this!!! I have the same issue with my 1in. punch. It is just slightly too big! Drives me insane
