Default Can you please critique my stacked bow?

This is my first one ever! I don't have too much 7/8" ribbon for the middle part which I know a lot of ladies on here use, but I didn't. I know the good thing about a stacked bow is there are no set instructions but please be honest... would you buy this style/quality? Also, what do most of you use on the back, a barette or alligator clip? Thanks so much!

I think you did a good job. I like it. I just started making my bows. I like to cover my clips all the way and I use drawer liner for the no slip grip. Hope this helps. Keep uo the cute bow making!

I usually put my stacked bows on french clips.....not matter what no slip grip method I use alligator clips do NOT stay in my middle DD's hair.

Your pink bow looks good, the top bow looks like it needs shaped, maybe next time go with just a smaller amount of ribbon. You can't really see what is under the pnik striped bow...are there spikes? another bow? Stacked bows can be so much fun, because you can make them any way you want them!

Ok, I like the colors you used on the bow. And zebra's always a big hit. I would make your spikes longer since you can't see them very much when you look at the bow. I would also leave off the black ribbon (surround loops?) in the back of the bow. And to answer your question, 95% of my customers prefer alligator pinch clips. So, I tend to make all my bows on alligator clips and offer french clips for custom orders.

I guess it would be what look you're going for. Even if you use a small topper I always put the larger bow on the bottom, then the spikes, then the surrounds then the topper. I would recommend making the 3/8 bow a little smaller and work on the center crease. Good job on the first one!

I use both french and alligator depending on customer preference. I use alligator clips for my daughter's bows.
