I'm loving the adhesion E6000 offers, but I can't stop it from running out the end of the tube when I take the cap off
I got mad and threw away almost an entire tube of it 2 nights ago because of that. It takes forever and a day to dry, it stinks and the second I take the cap off glue starts going everywhere.

Yeah, that stuff scares me. Cancer. Enough said. I do use it with a toothpick and wash my hands after I use it and try not to breathe the fumes. I only use it when I have to attach a bottlecap to a bow.

I have to have hubby take the cap off for me... it seems to be glued to itself lol But it does seem to go everywhere. I had a little puddle on the plate I put it on. Have to say though, it sure works for me!

After trying to use E6000 for the first time last night, I too, ran into many of the same problems discussed in the thread: the oozing tube, the not sticking right away and the fumes. I think that for my first attempt, I ended up having my fingers stick together better than my fabric.... lol! Any other suggestion for using this product?

Thinking of trying it again, and like the idea of using a toothpick to apply it--as always thanks for all the wonderful advice that can be found here!

I'm still using it but I have to be careful and use it before my entire tube solidifies (I have a thread here that talks about that). It seems to hold super well once it dries.
