Default ladybug headband

I have someone asking me to make them a headband for their 3 month old baby for halloween, she is a ladybug. I was wondering if anyone has done this and could you post a pic or give me some ideas? She wants me to use a crochet headband because the baby pulls the skinny headbands off. I'm just wondering how I could make something stand up and not too heavy for a baby? Any one have some ideas?????

I did, but I was hoping for some really cute creative idea. I just wonder if they will stay up?? I could always double or triple them and kind of twist together?? maybe then they would stay up. I will try a few things, maybe someone else will have an idea. thanks for your input!!

My daughter had a cute "bee" black crochet beanie that had pipe cleaners with pom pom ends. I think a beanie might work better than a headband. I'll see if I can take a pic for you if you'd like.

I would use the little beanie hat too! just a simple black or red one , glue on some felt dots and 2 extra large fuzzy pipecleaners and hot glue on red maribo puff on the ends! add a small red/black polka dot bow to the top of the hat and she will be the envy of all other ladybugs

I was going to suggest the same thing.. Pipe cleaners with pom poms on the end. I defintely think they would stay sticking up.

I uaed pipe cleaners and wrapped them around a pencil to give it a curly look. I wrapped around a red bow with black polka dots and attached it to a head band.

That sounds really cute. I thought about using bows.
