Default What's wrong with this bow???

I've got a request to do "boutique" style bows, and i bought instructions....I can't see to get it right...can anyone help me???

search for the tread "cheater method" and see if you can find that thread. It's been a great help to me.

In essence, your angles for folding your ribbon aren't sharp enough. Your ribbons should cross at a 90 degree angle. a smaller angle will make a flatter bow.

Thanks I tried to search it and cant find anything...I'll work on it some more and see what I can come up with....do most people make a bow on the back too?? I didnt think my surronds were done right either...

I've been doing a bow on the bottom, then spikes, add surrounds then final bow. HTH!! I would suggest adding some black to your spikes too.

Is that the kind of bow people make with these?? I've been making a different kind, no wonder it doesnt look good! Thanks, Ill try that one I looked through the instructions that I bought, but they were confusing, so I tried to do it myself...now you know why it looks like it does :P lol
