My understanding from everything I've read is you adhere your image to the bottlecap (think i'll try something called thermoweb?) then just place the poly resin on top of the image & your done? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, I am dying to try this.

These are the instructions Coleycole (http://hipgirlclips.com/forums/ribbo...mer-shows.html) gave me and it's working great for me:

1) I use xyron sticker maker to stick the images to the pendant/bottlecap( xyron 150 - around $15.00 at Joann's but used mt 50% coupon, so 7.00 bucks)

2) Stick the poly resin drop on top. It has a really heavy duty glue so it doesn't come off. Just make sure you press it well from all sides.

3) For EXTRA hold, go around the edges of the drop and cap with liquid fusion (again from joann's). This will seal the edges like resin does and dries clear.

I hope this helps!

Oh I understand the dome look part but the sticky part on the ones I bought don't lay flat on the bottle cap. It comes up on the edges where I thought it would lay nice. So I didn't know if I was suppose to add glue or what lol. Maybe I bought crappy ones from Hobby Lobby?

What section at Joann's is the Liquid Fusion? I've never heard of it, so wasn't sure where to check for it in the store. Thanks

I found it in the same isle where all the other glues/resins are. I think it was hanging next to liquid stitch It works well for me when I do use resin drops but like everyone else said, there is no substitute for real resin
