Default Does a double prong alligator clip hold more hair than a single prong?

I know most ppl use the single prong alli clips so I never really used the double prong ones. Does one do better with certain types of hair? What is the difference between single and double?

Thanks,
Sandy

I am not sure if it does or not. The reason I prefer the double prong ally is because when you line them it has a squared off tip. I just like the look of that better.

I have always only used double prong but I have no problems squaring off a single prong also. Either or - I just tend to buy double prong.

I prefer double prong. I like how my clips look more smooth with double prong. That said, I have not noticed a difference in how the clips hold. Maybe someone else has?

My 1 1/2 yo daughter has both, and I don't see a difference in the amount of hair they hold. I prefer the single prong b/c it's partially lined and it stays in her hair better than the fully lined double prong.

I think the double prong hold stronger than the single prong from what I have noticed on my dd's hair.
