Default Twisted bow question

I made my own template to make the twisted bows. Mine seem to come out ok. But on another thread I saw several people saying that they measure, mark, and then "twist" their bows. I guess I am missing that step. How do you "twist" your bows?? Thanks for the help.

P.S. Also if I'm making a 4.5" twisted bow how long should I measure my spikes to be?

Default Re: Twisted bow question

The people that measure & mark & twist them are making them by hand not using a template. They use the measuremants as a guide on where to fold the ribbon. The twisting is where they overlap the ribbons & tiwst it into the correct shape as they are making it.
