Agree with everyone else. FT will not hold ribbon to a clip, it is made to hold ribbon to ribbon. Tape is the only way to go for me when linning clips.

Ok so are the cordless glue guns the ones your talking about that run on batteries. I had no idea. I just discovered cordless today at hobby lobby but they plug in and have a base that it sits on. I need one wtih batteries because Im always needing my glue gun in weird places lol.

Will using hot glue fix this or is this a problem with all glue? I can't have my stuff falling apart, i'm freaking out that someone is going to buy something and it's going to come apart.
After reading your post yesterday I went and checked my last batch of clips that I just lined, using hot glue and tiger grip, and found that I could peel (albeit using quite a bit of strength) from the back of the partially lined clip. I was soooo disappointed that I could do this!!!

I have been using a hot glue gun on the beginning and ends of my ribbon when lining clips and the tiger grip in between. So after getting out my new glue gun (not the cheapo one that I had been using), I found that using the better glue and glue gun it stuck a lot better.

So I hear ya in the freaking out department!!!!

I use a high-temp glue gun for lining clips & it's held up great - even in the Florida heat.

As far as a cordless glue gun, my personal recommendation is don't get one. At least not the kind from Wal-Mart. It's a PITA, the cord constantly comes out & it ended up being a piece of junk. I bought a new high-temp glue gun at Wal-Mart 2 weeks ago (with a cord) and it's great. It's by Adtech (grey with a white cord) and it's SO much better than the junky cordless one.
