Question E6000.... the screw on tip??

So I read the E6000 directions and I can't find anywhere how I'm supposed to clean the detatchable tip? I used it, and now I don't know what to do with it because it's full of glue! I want to be able to use it over and over again (because I can't imagine using the tube itself.... that would be a nightmare).

What do I do with the tip? Right now it's just soaking in a bath of nail polish remover (I assumed that would help since that's what they suggest use to remove excess from projects and stuff).

That's a pain. I wondered the same thing. Is it a one use only? In that case they should include a few of them. Sorry I couldn't be more help. I am interested to see what others say.

I don't use that tip anymore, actually. It's too much of a pain. Just use a toothpick to dig a little out of the normal tip.

Also, I've found a little 'sample' sized pack at Hobby Lobby. There are 4 tubes (2 E600 and 2 of some other craft glue) and the tiny tubes have tiny nozzles. It costs more, but I kinda like the size.

I had the same problem so I use a toothpick to apply the glue to my items. It's alot easier to control where the glue goes.

Ditch the plastic tip. Get a paper plate, squeeze the amt needed and use popsicle stick or a toothpick to apply.

I agree, I ditched the tip the first time. I use a single prong alligator clip and after it dries, I am able to pull the old glue off and use the same clip over and over.

I have never used the tip for that glue. I have always used a tooth pick. I find it easier to control the amonuts that way.
