Default Headbands from slipping off?

I get the complaint at my shows about the wovens not staying in place when they wear them. What does everyone use to line the inside of the headband? I heard of using velvet and I just ordered some through a little UB buy that went on but I haven't gotten it yet. Does anyone know where we would buy the little "spikes/comb" part of a headband. You know like the ones you buy at the store? We should be able to buy just that part right? I've been looking and no luck. Anyone else have any insight as to what they use?

The rough side of velcro works well too.

Where do you actually put the velcro or velvet? And with what? TIA

I haven't done it yet but for my dd I am going to put a very thin line of silicone. It has worked for the foe so I don't see why it wouldn't for the woven headbands.

Just put it underneath where the teeth would be. Use E6000 or thin hot glue.

I use a thin piece of velcro and haven't had a problem.

I use shelf liner applied with hot glue. Velcro works as well but is more expensive.

I have a thread about where to find less expensive velvet ribbon - can anyone point me in a good direction. I've never ordered from UB before, but I will have to look into that. Has anyone done a group buy that included plain velvet ribbon - not glitter?

Thank you!
