Question Where to sell

Alright, I have been making bows for a little under a year now and I really want to start selling them. I opened an etsy shop but no sells Where do you ladies find that you sell the most. I always see where you are selling at shows, what kind of shows. I need to start making something off this or the DH is going to put it to a stop!

Check for your local craft or hobby shows, try any childrens boutiques around you that are not "corporate" owned. For example any resale shop, etc.

Local childrens hair salons like cuts for kids, young attitude, etc.

i'm the same way I have no sales on my etsy shop, but my friends buy stuff they see on there and give me cash. It's frustrating.

you can also advertise in small community papers for very cheap. i missed out this year but you can contact the local high schools and see when they take ads for their football programs, etc usually that's only $20 and it's in the program for the whole year.

You could also call the school and see if you could set up at the local sporting events. Bows in school colors would go over well. I also set up at my daughter's dance studio. Those girls LOVE bows!

As far as your husband, if I were you, I would gently remind him that you need an outlet too. Moms are moms 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We don't get off hours. We have jobs (some outside the home), children, husbands to care for, we cook, we clean, we taxi...everyone needs to do something to destress.

If making bows makes you happy, that should matter more than anything. The cost of doing it is well worth the therapy that it brings.

I'll let you sleep with my husband before I give you my supplier information, so don't ask.

I couldn't agree more! We all need a way to destress!
