Oh man! im having a hard time making the font for my ribbon, i did a test print and it came out crooked im using GIMP, i cant figure out how to do it the way it needs to be done in any other program on my computer

well i figured it out, i printed and everything, i wet it and rubbed it to see if it would come off, and some of it just smeared i did everything that tutorial said to do

That is strange..I washed mine and it did not smear at all. I wonder what could be different...?? Did you use Gain fabric softner? After I put the ribbon in the fabric softner..I just rinsed it...but it was not all rinsed out. Maybe you rinsed to much of it out.

No i used Purex, i dont know if the fabric softener would make that much of a difference though, maybe but i think i did rinse it out too much

It might be though...I know it makes a big difference in the way my clothes feel..you what I mean. They are not all same..so maybe gain has something in it that is different than Purex. Like I said last night..I tried to take the easy way out and skip the softener part and it smeared all over the place..so we know the softener is the main ingredient to make it work. If I was you I would try Gain...if that does not work, maybe the type of printer ink makes a difference...idk It has to be one of those 2 things...because it worked for me on 5 different ribbons. I really hope you get it to work for you..it looks so much better than the transfers. Please let us know if you get it work.

yeah im going to try Gain, not sure when though! it might also be the ink too im not sure, i use the right ink for my printer so i dont know what other ink my printer would be compatible with
