Default Help- Pinwheels w/ 2 ribbons

Do you have any tips for creating pinwheels with two ribbons, like this bow. Obviously, its just stacking the two ribbons, then folding. But do you use double-sided sticky tape to keep the top ribbon from sticking, or tack it occasionally to the bottom ribbon using thread or hot glue? Is it better to do it without anything to keep the top ribbon in place? Any help appreciated!
Thanks!

I've used glue.
But I've seen people even use sewing machines and stitch along the sides of the inside ribbon too...

I've used glue, but I always got some small lumps, and being OCD, that is *not* acceptable Now, I use double-sided tape (same stuff I use to line clips). I love that stuff - it's good for everything!

I just had a request for several of these...I used Fabric-Tac glue and it worked well. I tried it with hot glue, but got too many lumps. I also made sure I did it very slow, like three inches, then three more inches, etc, if this makes sense! I was pleased with them (and so was the customer, thankfully, lol!)

I'm going to try the double-sided tape!
