Default How do you color your bottle caps?

Okay- so i just ordered some silver bottlecaps on ebay and was wondering how do I get them colored once I get them? Do I buy spray paint? Or what? Thanks

I think you can spray paint them but in the long run it probably would be cheaper to buy they factory painted. There are lots of gals who sell them on here and etsy is always a great resource.

I also use acrylic paint and seal it with ET Lite. I do mine kind of backwards as I flatten the cap and use the outside of the cap. Here is a pic.

Awesome thanks! When I looked at colored ones, I know they won't always be the color I want or I would have too many of one color and not enough of another.
THanks, I am now still on the hunt for the hole punch, my walmart and michaels didn't have any. My bottle caps should be in the mail soon, I am excited!

Thanks, I ended up finding a 1 inch hole punch at Michaels for $5....that lady i talked to didn't know what she was talking about in there lol.

However, I just got my bottle caps and I bought some acrylic paint and painted 2 caps and it just doesn't look pretty. Am I going to need to put like 10 coats on it? I used white and I put 3 coats on it so far. Am I doing it wrong?

Does Mod podge work as well as the ET lite?

The one at micheals for paper? I am told they work for a few and then not so well. The one i got is for metal sheets and is beveled plus comes with extra punch so when the one wears out.
I spray paint mine never handpainted them.
